Kohler Co.
Kohler Co., often referred to simply as Kohler, is a multinational manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom plumbing products, along with cabinetry, tile, and other home improvement products. Founded in 1873 by John Michael Kohler in Wisconsin, Kohler has become a globally recognized brand known for its dedication to innovation, craftsmanship, and design excellence.
A Legacy of Quality and Design
Kohler’s story began with the manufacture of cast-iron enameled bathtubs. Over the years, the company has expanded its product line to encompass a wide range of kitchen and bathroom fixtures, faucets, shower systems, toilets, and more. Kohler is renowned for its commitment to quality and durability, using high-grade materials and rigorous manufacturing processes to ensure their products last for years to come.
Beyond functionality, Kohler places a strong emphasis on design aesthetics. The company offers a vast array of styles and finishes across its product lines, catering to diverse design preferences from traditional to contemporary. This focus on design, coupled with quality and performance, has cemented Kohler’s position as a leading brand in the home improvement industry.
Safety and Accessibility in the Bathroom
Kohler offers a comprehensive selection of bathroom products that promote safety and accessibility for users of all ages and abilities. One key product category within this focus is grab bars.
Kohler Grab Bars:
- Enhanced Safety and Confidence: Kohler grab bars are designed to provide reliable support and stability in bathrooms, particularly for seniors, individuals with limited mobility, or those who require extra assistance. Secure gripping points offered by grab bars can significantly reduce the risk of slips and falls in the shower, bathtub, or while using the toilet.
- Variety for Diverse Needs: Kohler understands that bathroom needs vary. They offer grab bars in a wide range of lengths, styles, and finishes to suit different bathroom layouts and user preferences. This includes straight grab bars for common areas, angled grab bars for specific locations like toilets, and folding or retractable grab bars for space-saving solutions in smaller bathrooms.
- Design Harmony with Kohler Collections: Similar to its other products, Kohler prioritizes aesthetics in its grab bars as well. The company offers grab bars in a variety of finishes, such as chrome, brushed nickel, and oil-rubbed bronze, that coordinate seamlessly with Kohler’s various bathroom fixture collections. This allows for a cohesive and stylish bathroom design even when incorporating safety features.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Safety remains paramount. Kohler grab bars are designed and manufactured to comply with relevant safety standards like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ensuring they meet the required weight capacity and provide secure support for users.
By providing a wide range of stylish, functional, and safe grab bars, Kohler empowers individuals to create beautiful and accessible bathrooms that promote safety and independence for everyone.
